How to Add a New Project

Prerequisites:

Before adding a new project, please make sure client, client contact, department and project status related to that project have been created, and delivery manager as well as project manager roles have been assigned.

Step 1: Click on “Projects” tab on the top menu:

Step 2: Click on green plus icon on the “Manage Projects” screen

Step 3: Enter required details on “Add Projects” screen. Bold labels are mandatory fields. Click on “Save” button to save the new project and go back to “Manage Projects” screen, or click on “Save & Add Task” button to save the new project and add another project

Notes:

  • Only Administrator, Project Manager and Delivery Manager can add a new project.
  • If Active checkbox is unselected, the new project will not be displayed in the project list when adding new tasks and tickets.
  • Click mouse on “Client Contact” textbox to display the list of clients, and then select the client name to add the client to the project.
  • Click mouse on “Staff” textbox to display the list of staffs, and then select the staff name from the dropdown list to add staff to the project.
