How to Delete a Client Contact
Step 1: Click on Clients tab on the top menu
Step 2: On the Manage Clients screen, the list of all the existing clients will be displayed. Click on All Clients. Search the client which needs to be deleted. To search a client, please refer “How to Search a Client”
Step 3: Hover mouse over the gear icon of the client that needs to be deleted and click on “Edit” icon
Step 4: On Edit Client screen, click on the Contacts tab present on the top of the screen
Step 5: Go to the contact which needs to be deleted and hover mouse over the gear icon of that client contact. Edit and Delete options will be displayed once you point the cursor over settings button. Click on Delete option.
Step 6: On clicking Delete, the system will prompt a message to confirm the delete, click OK and the client contact will be deleted.
Notes:
- If a client contact is associated with a Project, task, ticket or any other activity, then that client contact cannot be deleted. Therefore, prior deleting the client contact, delete all the reference records of that client contact including tasks, ticket and all other activities.
- Only Admin, Project Manager and Delivery Manager can delete a client contact to the Link-OM - Task Management Software.
